I've taught myself to be happy with the way I look: Kiewa Austin-Rioli

Kiewa Austin-Rioli is a proud 16 year old Gunditjmara and Tiwi islander woman. At 13, she was diagnosed with scoliosis and when doctors discovered her spine was curving at a rate of 12 degrees every three months, she was rushed through to surgery to straighten her back. As a teenager, growing up with social media, she's come up against constant messaging around what bodies are good and what are bad, and she shares her journey with body image and how she's embracing her scar and her body because it's who she is.
